Our customization
service begins with the purchase of our
Employee Handbook Template. After you
have reviewed the content and wish to proceed with having HRIT perform
additional services, we will work with you personally to edit the content
according to your specification.
We offer the following
customization services:
$150.00 -
Basic Customization: We will replace
all bracketed generic terms in the handbook, such as [Company Name],
[Department Names], [Contact Names] etc. with the terms used in your
company. Before you pay us to do this, check out our free
Find and Replace Tip!
$99.99 -
Table of Contents Update: Some customers change our section header
names, and add and delete sections. If you are not familiar with some
of the more "fancier" features of word processors you may have problems
getting a table of contents to look the way you want. We can help with those leading dots between the section
name and the page number; we can teach you how to work with header styles so that the
you can use the MS Word table of contents feature.
$570.00 -
Full Customization: Purchase a pre-paid block of time and we will
work with you personally to analyze existing policies and make
recommendations; develop a custom, print-ready Employee Handbook that
integrates your company’s unique policies with the policies we bring.
The $570.00
represents the minimum charge for this service; it is the value of a six
hour block of HRIT service. The purchase of additional hours may
necessary. After we have completed the employee manual to your
specification, if there are hours remaining in your bank of hours, you may
use them for ongoing ad-hoc support such as advisory on incidental employee
discipline issues and formal disciplinary documents, or if you wish, because
we are an HR and IT firm, you can use the hours for IT services such as
custom databases or web design; unused hours will not be refunded.
$500.00*-
Legal Review: HRIT has obtained a general federal legal review of the
templates
for the employee handbook and time-off policies. However, laws
vary from state to state and are subject to change. Employers are
advised to seek review of all company policies with their own legal
counsel. This advice tends to undeservingly de-value our
product, however, we are not only an e-commerce HR and IT store, we are also
consultants; it would be poor advice if anyone advised you not to have
your attorney review your employee handbook after you have customized
it; prior to distribution.
Your attorney can review the document and
inform you of state policy that differs from the policies we have provided,
or if the policies you have created
from scratch are in violation of any laws.
For
approximately $500.00 we can have an attorney from your state give it a
"blessing." When you use our attorneys, if you wish, we will make any
changes recommended by the attorney, FREE OF CHARGE.
*The
cost of Legal Review may vary.

About our translator: Lisa
S.
Born in New York and raised in Puerto
Rico, Lisa's language skills in both English and Spanish were reinforced by a
totally bilingual education. After graduation from High School, her scores on
the College Entrance Examination automatically allowed her to take the required
courses in English and Spanish at the advanced levels. In college, while
completing her studies at the University of the Sacred Heart, in Santurce,
Puerto Rico, her curriculum included Business Correspondence in both languages.
Her work experience included top notch positions with law firms, stockbrokers,
advertising agencies, real estate firms, and others. During five years she
worked for the US Food and Drug Administration and obtained the highest
commendation at a Regional Level for her outstanding initiative in communicating
with the Spanish-speaking Media in New York and beyond. She translated her
Agency's information and provided it to the Media. Her columns were often
printed verbatim. Most articles would also be reprinted in Latin America. Her
interviews were conducted using a very neutral, international language, which
also allowed the media in New York to furnish them to other countries, as a
Public Service.
In Orlando, Lisa successfully worked
with major translation companies on a full-time basis. During the past twelve
years she has been fully dedicated to freelancing for the most prestigious
translation companies in Orlando and in other states and countries. Now
she has owns her own translation company.
