HRIT Inc General Information
HRIT is an acronym for Human Resources Information Technology; it is pronounced "H.R.I.T."
We are based in Central Ohio, just outside of Columbus, Ohio. Our legal name under which we are incorporated is HRIT Inc dba Employee University.
The business started in 2001; developing custom software; specializing in HR solutions for small business. Our service also included HR Consulting, Custom Employee Handbooks, and Employee Training Programs.
Over the years two areas have evolved into our core services/products: producing and selling employee training videos, and employee handbooks.
Though we do continue to accept offers to create custom software and HR consulting, we do not heavily market those services in an effort focus on our core products.
HRIT is a woman-owned small business. HRIT itself consists of the owners; sales and support, and a finance manager. All of the Employee Handbook and Company Policy within our templates have been produced in-house, with outside legal review; we outsource some jobs to professionals we know and have a vendor relationship with; ie Spanish translators, coders, camera crews, video editors, etc.
In addition to producing training videos, we also distribute corporate training video content for more than 60 independent film producers.

employeeuniversity.com is now one of the leading training video distributors in the the US. We are not sure you could name a large US corporation that we have not worked with on the training side of our business.
